We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data. When you use our website and services, we primarily process the data necessary for their use that you provide to us, as well as the information we collect directly (see below).
When our website is accessed, technical data is processed, for example information about your browser (type and version), your device type and your IP address, as well as access data such as the page accessed, the date and time of access and the amount of data transferred.
Our website itself contains no contact form, no chat and no analytics or tracking tool and does not set any cookies. We only process further data about you if you provide it to us yourself, for example by e-mail, when booking an appointment or when registering.
Purpose
We process your data exclusively for the purposes that we communicated to you when collecting your data, as well as for other purposes compatible with these objectives.

In doing so, we mainly use communication data and master data as well as registration data relating to offers and services you use. This data may be stored for documentation purposes, quality assurance and follow-up queries.

You will only receive a newsletter with your consent. You have the option at any time to decline such contact or to refuse or withdraw your consent to being contacted for advertising purposes.
Finally, data may be processed for security reasons in order to ensure the secure operation of the website.
You are not obliged to provide us with personal data. Without the necessary information, however, we cannot process an enquiry, a booking or a contract. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.

Recipients are the following service providers, who process data on our behalf: hosting of the website (Netlify, see below), appointment bookings, registrations, courses and sales (Alfima), video calls (Zoom), accounting (bexio, Switzerland) and our e-mail service Google Workspace (Google; data may also be processed in the USA). Our website and the images and fonts displayed on it are stored and delivered by the Netlify service of Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When the website is accessed, Netlify processes the technical data mentioned above, in particular your IP address, in order to deliver the page and to ensure the security of operations (server log files). The fonts are loaded from this server and not from Google.

Netlify processes this data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement. According to its own information, Netlify retains log data online for 90 days and offline for one year. Further information: netlify.com/privacy.
Like button in the blog
Below our blog articles, you can use a «Like» button to indicate that you like an article. In doing so, we store at Netlify (see above) only the total number of clicks per article, no information about you. So that the same browser is not counted more than once, a small entry is stored in your browser (local storage, not a cookie), which only records that you have already marked the article with «Like». This entry is not transmitted to us, and you can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
Videos and music from YouTube
On our website, we show videos and songs from our own YouTube channels. The provider of YouTube is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; a transfer to Google LLC in the USA is possible. We use the privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The preview images are stored on our own server. A video is only loaded when you click on it; the notice «Playing loads YouTube» directly on the video points this out. Only then is data such as your IP address transmitted to YouTube, and YouTube may use cookies or similar technologies.
By clicking on a video, you decide yourself whether YouTube is loaded. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.
Appointments, registrations and purchases
Bookings of calls, registrations for events (for example WAItblick Impulse), freebies and purchases are handled via the Alfima platform. Calls usually take place via Zoom. There, you enter your data directly with the respective service; its privacy provisions also apply.
For these services, we primarily process master and communication data as well as other information necessary for processing your request. We may also store your data in order to be able to refer to it in follow-up communication. We process this data in order to prepare or perform a contract with you and to coordinate appointments and registrations easily.
